In the heart of Savona, just 500 metres from the sea, Afrodite is an exclusive and beautifully appointed retreat, perfect for exploring the city on foot among lanes, cafés and local services, or discovering the beautiful Ligurian villages.
It is an elegant 30 m² studio apartment, fully renovated and newly furnished, located in the historic centre on Via Montenotte, just a short walk from the sea, Piazza Giulio II, the Darsena and the marina connected to the Costa Cruises Terminal.
The apartment is ideal for a single guest or an adult couple, with a maximum of two guests of average build and height.

In summer, a portable air conditioner is available; in winter, controlled mechanical ventilation (VMC) is active.

From Savona railway station, you can reach the apartment on foot, by taxi or by the buses available at the station entrance.
To reach Via Montenotte from Savona railway station, TPL buses on lines 1, 5, 6, 61 or 30. The apartment is at civic number 12 NERO.
The route passes through Piazza Martiri della Libertà, Corso Ricci, Ponte Letimbro, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza Mameli and Via Montenotte. It takes approximately 15 minutes.

Afrodite is right in the historic centre, in a lively area with excellent services. Within a few metres you will find supermarkets, shops, cafés and restaurants, with no need for a car.
I recommend visiting the Priamar Fortress, the Cathedral of the Assumption and the Torretta di Leon Pancaldo, as well as the historic centre’s caruggi. Savona is rich in history, art and culture, with an art gallery and the Ceramics Museum.
Savona’s marina is connected to the Costa Cruises Terminal.
Afrodite is only 500 metres from Savona’s seafront beaches. The sea is easy to reach on foot; along the coast you will find free beaches and bathing establishments. The seafront is also perfect for a walk, especially at sunset.
In Savona you can taste many Ligurian specialities, from farinata and focaccia to the distinctive Chinotto di Savona.
Just 3 km from Savona, you can reach Albissola Marina, famous for its ceramics. During the 1950s and 1960s its kilns hosted artists such as Sassu, Fontana, Crippa, Scanavino and Jorn. The famous Artists’ Promenade by the sea is an open-air museum.
